Mood & Music Monday: 1/23/17

Hello, and welcome this week’s Mood and Music Monday!

Mood and Music Monday is a weekly meme I’ve started, wherein I’ll post a song and talk about how it relates to my day/week, as well as a few other things. (And, in case anyone’s wondering, this meme has no relation to Lauren’s [from Always Me] “Music Mondays.”) Feel free to participate and to leave a link to your posts down in the comments!

Here’s the update for this week:

SONG(S) OF THE WEEK

What are you listening to? My dad and I were singing this song earlier today, so of course I had to look it up and listen to it. ^_^ My love for this movie knows no bounds (though I’ve only seen it once, because we don’t own it on DVD for some odd reason).

What are you reading? I’ve finished The Problem with Forever, and, in order to keep up with library due dates for books I can’t renew, I’m currently reading three books at once: Scythe by Neal Shusterman, Heartless by Marissa Meyer, and The Female of the Species by Mindy McGinnis. Because the latter is due tomorrow (and I can’t renew it), I’ve read 247 pages today, and I’m planning on getting to page 290 before I go to bed so I only have 50 pages to read tomorrow. (Pray for me, heheheh.)

What are you drinking? Kombucha! I’m a happy girl. 😀

Any goals for this week? Balancing my reading schedule with my life. I want to enjoy all of these books, but I’m hoping those library due dates won’t stress me out.

How about you?

  • What song(s) are you listening to today?
  • What is your current read? Are you enjoying it?
  • Do you have any plans or goals for this week?
